What cameras/sensors does Astro support?

Astro Base ships without a camera/sensor payload. The Astro wiki contains detailed information about payload interfaces for customer payload integration.

Astro Map ships with the Mapping Payload (Sony Alpha 7R IVA + 24mm lens) for high resolution photogrammetry.

Operators can also purchase Freefly payloads separately, to expand their operations:

• Mapping Payload – Gimbaled Sony Alpha 7R IVA + 24mm lens for high resolution photogrammetry.
• Wiris Pro Payload (Thermal) – Gimbaled Wiris Pro for thermal imaging and 10x RGB optical zoom

In the future, Freefly will offer support for a variety of payloads for Astro including cinema, first responder, and other applications, as well as releasing development kits to allow third-party integrations.
