Are Astro Max or Astro NDAA Compliant?

The Astro and Astro Max aircraft are NDAA compliant. The radio link is what determines NDAA compliance. We offer two radio options currently:

• Astro (NDAA/Blue) ships with a Doodle Labs radio for Pilot Pro.
  • These options are NDAA and DIU Blue approved. Look for NDAA or Blue in the product titles!
  • These ship with Standard Remote ID enabled, if you are exempt from the FAA rules, compliant with FAA rules. Please reach out to Freefly Support for assistance.
• Astro Max and Astro (legacy) use a Chinese Herelink radio for Pilot Pro.
  • These options are not NDAA or DIU Blue approved.
  • These ship with Standard Remote ID, compliant with FAA rules.
