Does my Alta come with a ground station computer/tablet?

A ground station computer / tablet is not included with Alta X or Alta 8 Pro.

You can use the Alta QGroundControl apps for iOS and Android for short-range configuration and programming. You just need to turn WiFi* on through the wired connection to your computer before you can connect with your mobile device.

To take advantage of the long-range radio module available Alta X (FRX Pro) or Alta 8 Pro (RFD), as well as RTK functionality (with optional RTK hardware), a laptop running the desktop application for macOS or Windows is required and available for download here (scroll down to software).

*WiFi cannot be enabled on Alta X aircraft with DIU Blue firmware. A wired connection to your computer is required for these aircraft.
